Goldcrest Chemicals brought in Linked2Success to help train their sales and business development team to engage with LinkedIn.
The objective was to learn how to use LinkedIn to generate new business enquiries. Following their first serious piece of content marketing they struck gold. Goldcrest Chemicals are experts in the water and wastewater chemicals sector and by sharing a case study on their website and then posting this on LinkedIn, Sales Director, Neale Hurst first received a profile view from the client and then an enquiry direct to their website.
"Once the client saw we shared common industry contacts, via my LinkedIn profile, this added significantly to our standing as a credible supplier" said Sales Director Neale Hurst and he went on "Having a good 'shop window' on LinkedIn was vital to our success in being asked to quote for this £500,000 project but LinkedIn then presented us with further opportunities.
We also realised, through LinkedIn, that the client has other offices globally, which means the initial opportunity could become significantly larger as long as we deliver service to our usual high standards."
This was Goldcrest's first serious content marketing campaign, using LinkedIn, so Neale is excited about the opportunities available to the company with continued focus on implementing the training provided by Linked2Success.
